He’d promised to be here. Could she trust him? More than the Evil Emperor, Midnight. She spied a space hangout. She crept inside, her gaze searching within. Still no sign. He had said, he could pilot a plane, hadn’t he? Of course, if worse came to worse, she could so herself. She wasn’t a bad pilot either. A band of miscreants played in the corner. Here and there, coins plonked down for drinks or the music. She saw a tall form in the corner. Furry. Tiger-gray. Yeah, that must be him. She headed his way and paused halfway. She saw the trap in another step. With a vault backwards, the Lobster Mac n’ Cheese spiraled in the air and landed back in her paws. She grinned. Beat that Emp! Her whiskers twitched.
