My Review: Jane Hawk’s been pushed to the limit, her enemies are closing in on her, her friends, even her son. An old ally comes to her aid and another betrays her. She must find a way out to safety for herself and her friend. Meanwhile, the Arcadians have found her son and are preparing to move in. The leader of the Arcadians has his own game going which he plans to use on her. He’s testing it on a Hollywood up-and-coming director/producer. The young man must run for his life as he becomes the hunted.

Another intense novel by Koontz! Say what you will about the formula of his books, but he tells a satisfying tale! I haven’t been disappointed by a book of his yet. This is a scary world and one I personally hope we never encounter.
