In the adult markets, I’m reading Josh Malerman’s Bird Box, Karen Thompson Walker’s The Dreamers, Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, 13 Steps to Evil by Sacha Black, The Freelancer’s Survival Guide by Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Writing Love Scenes by Rayne Hall and Susan McCarthy, How to Write Realistic Men by Jackson Dean Chase, Jewel in the Mud by Harmony Kent, and In the Company of Women by Grace Bonney. I have two YA novels ready for review (The Bane of the Dragon King by J.     It’s been years since I read it, but I loved Bird Box – and the movie was fantastic.
